Designer Alina Moza exhibits between 13 and 16 October at the Romanian Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 her clothing collection “Imago Mundi” combining tradition and modernity.
The name of the collection reflects Mircea Eliade’s concept of “Imago Mundi” and the idea of the human returning to nature. The collection draws inspiration also from the art works of sculptor Constantin Brancusi, the embroidery on clothes taking some elements from the „Gate of the Kiss” and the „Endless Column”. The materials used are 100% organic, namely cotton, linen, hemp, silk.
Alina Moza is a graduate of the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti – Milano and in June she participated with her creations at the exhibition of Romanian traditional costumes called „SanzIEne Forest” held on the occasion of the Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse at the Romanian Pavilion.
