The Romanian former President, Emil Constantinescu, visited, Monday, 21st of September, the Romanian Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015, welcomed by Romanian General Commissioner to Expo 2015, Georgian Ghervasie.
The Romanian General Commissioner presented the main creative concept of the Pavilion and the thematic areas illustrating the Romania`s message at Expo Milano: a country where tradition and modernity co-exist in harmony.
After visiting the modern spaces located at the ground floor, designed for exhibitions and artistic events, the former president was invited at the upstairs floor, where are located traditional areas of the Pavilion: a functional garden and a typical Romanian thatched-roofed house hosting inside a restaurant with Romanian specialities.
„The Romanian Pavilion has a peculliar warmth, illustrative of romanian soul. It was a great pleasure in visiting the Pavilion and I pleasantly noticed it’s a extremelly attractive, alive place with a lot of visitors”, said Emil Constantinescu.
„It is a honour for us to have as a guest the Romanian former President, after the visit of acting Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis, who was our guest in May”, pointed out Georgian Ghervasie.
